Wash & Care Instructions

To maintain the luster of the zari and the softness of the butter silk, please follow these care guidelines:

First Wash: We strictly recommend Dry Clean for the first wash to set the colors and preserve the zari finish.

Subsequent Washes: If hand-washing at home, use cold water and a very mild detergent (specifically for silks). Do not soak the saree for more than 5 minutes.

Drying: Never wring or twist. Dry the saree flat in a shaded area; avoid direct sunlight as it can fade the rich mauve and green hues.

Ironing: Use a low-to-medium heat setting. It is best to iron on the reverse side or place a thin muslin cloth between the iron and the saree to protect the gold zari.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, preferably wrapped in a breathable cotton cloth or a saree bag.
